Breathtaking, breathtaking breathtaking are the most striking words that I have to describe this day. Since the very first day we met Annalee I knew there was a connection. We were photographing her best friends wedding and she said to me. “I want you guys to photograph my wedding”. Well low and behold guess who caught the bouquet that night??? You guessed it. Was Annalee.. Fate I think. Her and Aaron got engaged shortly after that and both decided they wanted a Mountain Wedding because mountains and adventure and snowboarding are some of the things that these two are most passionate about. When we first met with them about their wedding photography they told us they wanted something different and amazing that would capture the two of them in their most natural raw moments. I knew we could do it. Never having photographed a couple on top of a mountain before nor snowboarding down the hill in their wedding gear, we were absolutely THRILLED to take on this experience and capture every tiny detail of their once in a lifetime wedding day.
This couple is absolutely amazing. They are both so kind hearted and they make you feel welcome in any situation. Over the last year these two went from people we met at a wedding to some really great friends of ours. We are proud and honoured to have them in our lives and absolutely on top of the world that we got to photograph their Mountain Top Wedding which was a 1940’s Theme Wedding in Lake Louise Ski Lodge.
The girls had their hair and make up done by an amazing team of ladies Carol and Michelle from Airdrie Alberta. This is now the second wedding we have photographed where Carol was the hair dresser and I can say that these two brides had absolutely AMAZING hair. Carol is one of the Best Wedding Hair Stylists we have seen!
