Alix & Sascha’s Airdrie/Kananaskis/Cochrane Wedding, September 23, 2017 – Mountain Wedding Photographers

Today truly was an amazing day spent with Alix, Sascha and their families.  First just a little back history that makes this event even more extraordinarily amazing.  Back in 2013, we first met Alix’s brother when we photographed his wedding in Airdrie Alberta, and then in 2014 we photographed her other brothers wedding in Banff Alberta so of course when we found out that now Alix was getting married in 2017, we knew that we had to be there to photograph this special day.  Now having spent 3 weddings with this particular family, we do really feel as if we are a part of their lovely family.  From the first moment we met them back in 2013, they have welcomed us and treated us just as you would your own family.  Of course now since having photographed all of their weddings, we are now close friends with the whole crew.  You have to admit photographing 3 out of the 4 children’s weddings in one family is pretty cool!

Back to Alix and Sascha, no words to describe these two other than they are perfect for each other.  One would definitely say that they were meant to be.  When the two of them are together you can just feel the love radiating all around them.  This day was quite the adventure.  We started off with the getting ready photos in Airdrie, and then from there headed off to Cochrane for the Ceremony that they wanted in a particular church there with a particular special Father.   After the Ceremony we photographed the family in the beautiful gardens of the Church and then from there we headed off to Kananaskis for photos of the Bride, Groom and wedding party.  Previously we had spoken about where we should go for wedding photos and after the having expressed some interested with having photos in the mountains and hearing about the love these two had for the mountains, we decided that we just had to make it happen.  Since we were only about 40 minutes away from beautiful Kananaskis, we figured there was no way we could Not Go there even if it meant we had to rush just a little bit.  Off we went to Kananaskis for formal wedding photos and I am so glad we did because it was one of the most Beautiful Fall days one could have asked for.  After finishing up with photos, we rushed back to Airdrie for the Reception which took place at Apple Creek Golf Course (another one of our favorite places)!  The rest of the night we spent enjoying the amazing company of these two families.  We are so honoured to have been a part of this special day and capture all of the beautiful photos we did for Alix and Sascha!  We wish them a lifetime of love and happiness! Thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers!CODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO PhotographyCODIO Photography

Calgary/Airdrie Wedding Photographers ~ Michael & Alexandra’s Wedding Day ~ Apple Creek Golf Course, Airdrie AB

Today was an amazing day for Michael and Alexandra, a day that was a long time coming for the both of them to officially become husband and wife.  These two have been together forever and have two absolutely gorgeous daughters who were a big part of their day.  These two are both so kind and loving people and exceptional parents to their beautiful children. We are so honoured to have been part of this special day.  What do you get when you mix Jamaican and Latin Families together??? ONE BIG Party!!! and that it was, so much fun with both of these families!  You know when you have only met someone once or twice but from the moment you meet them, you feel as if you have known them forever and they make you feel as if you are part of the family!  Well this is how it was with Michael and Alexandra’s families, both so welcoming!

The beautiful ceremony took place at DayBreak Church in Airdrie AB and then we went off to a lovely Airdrie acreage for some formal photos and lastly to the Apple Creek Golf Course for the Party!  Alexandra was absolutely stunning today and Michael also looked pretty darn good!  Their girls seriously the sweetest little things ever!  Good Food as always at Apple Creek and an Awesome Dance Party oh and did I mention there was a lot of singing going on at this wedding!  Michael’s Mom, and Sisters absolutely to die for voices, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and Michael even sang a verse or two to his lovely new bride!  Got to love a musically inclined family!

We ended off the evening with some awesome night time/sparkler photos which are always a lot of fun! Wishing the two of you an absolutely amazing life together full of love and blessings!
