Today was a Beautiful Day for Spring Wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. I absolutely LOVE small intimate weddings and this is exactly what this was. You know when someone has a small wedding, that everyone there present on the day is extra special and has a very big place in the Bride and Groom’s Heart.
Staci looked stunning in her white dress and red flowers to accent, perfect for a end of Winter, beginning of spring Wedding. Ryan looked pretty darn spiffy in his black tux with the little red flower versus your typical wedding boutineer. When getting married in the mountains, you never really can count on a certain type of weather as it could snow at any point, even in the summer. Today the weather gave us a little bit of rain, snow and sunshine, it was an all in one kind of day. It did mess a little with some of the plans we had for this beautiful day, but nothing that can’t be fixed, rescheduled or rearranged.
Definitely lucked out with the weather today on this beautiful wedding day. Could not have chosen a more perfect day than February 14th, the day of love to exchange vows in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Canmore, Alberta. Wedding took place at the Stewart Greek Golf Club and could not have been more perfect. Sarah and Kelly make a perfect couple with similar dreams and goals. This wedding, a Nepalian theme, was very unique and holds a very dear spot in both Sarah and Kelly’s lives and they wanted to incorporate this into one of the most special days of their lives.
It’s almost the big day for S&W to get married!!! In just over a month we will be photographing these two at their wedding. We had a lot of fun doing this engagement session with them. Engagement sessions are such a great way to get to know the Bride and Groom on a more personal level before the big day. We get to learn about their personalities, likes and dislikes and what they are looking for from their photos of the big day. We are so excited for you two!!! Congratulations again!
Absolutely Loved Loved Loved this wedding that we photographed last weekend in Lacombe, Alberta. From the moment we met Cam and Mallory for our pre wedding consultation, the connection was instant between the four of us and we were super excited when they Cam and Mal told us they wanted us to capture their wedding day. Thank you to an amazing referral by Mallory’s brother who gave us the opportunity to meet these two amazing people. Isn’t it crazy how small of a world we live in, not only did we have numerous connections to this couple through friends and family, we also discovered more connections as time went on and their wedding day came. Who know we would be sitting at a table with neighbours of ours that live just right down the street from us in Airdrie Alberta and that numerous people at the wedding would know my sisters through other channels! Some days it amazes me how small this world can be!
Cam and Mallory, what can I say, definitely meant for each other. Having been together for more than a decade and growing up together in a small town, it is truly a good old fashioned Love Story. One that will bring them many many years of joy, peace and love!
All we really need in this world is Love and Candy! What more could one want!
Had an amazing time with Dustyn and Brad at their engagement session. Not only was it amazing, unpredictable but fun as well. Unplanned Rain made its appearance for 75% of the photo session but D & B were awesome sports about it all and we just had fun. Thankfully mother nature held off a few minutes for us to get some great shots before ruining Dustyn’s super cute hairdo. Unfortunately we didn’t get too much of a sunset (which we were hoping for) because of the rain and the thunderstorms but we did our best and managed to grab a few photos with some cool looking skies!
Had an awesome time last week photographing these two beautiful people (inside and out). They were amazing to work with and loved Mallory’s choice of clothing and matching shoes and necklace. Downtown Calgary is so much fun to shoot especially when a girl wants to wear heals. Much easier than photographing in a park.
From the moment we met these two we knew that we were a perfect match and we are thrilled to be photographing their wedding this coming Summer. Thanks for choosing us C&M as your Wedding Photographers. Can’t wait to see you again!
Sneak peak from our engagement session with Brittany and Brad. These two are absolutely stunning and were so easy going and fun to work with. Can’t wait for their upcoming May Wedding that will take place in Drumheller AB! Going to be some awesome photos!
What an opportunity to be able to go to New York City and photograph this amazing couple. In January 2015 we will be photographing their wedding in Orlando Florida and we are over the top excited. We started out in Central Park and finished up in Time Square! Samuel and Karla are so much fun, they were super excited about their engagement session and it shows in their photos. Their personalities are easy going, fun, loving, and passionate! So much fun when we get to photograph Dominicans! Check out some of the sneak peeks from this session!
From the moment I spoke with Anne on the phone regarding her and Nathan’s Airdrie wedding, I just knew that we were the perfect fit. Unfortunately because both Anne and Nathan live in Saskatchewan, we were unable to meet them before the wedding, however from our phone conversations, I just knew we would all get along. That is exactly how the day rolled. Super smooth and relaxed, the wedding party was a ton of fun and the family was great. Vows were exchanged at the Lutheran Church in Airdrie, photos at Nose Creek Park and Big Hills Springs Provincial Park and then back to Woodside Golf Course to celebrate. Excited to share some of their sneak peeks!
