Love this Engagment/Prewedding session we did with Gimena and Brian at the Iberostar Resort in Cancun, Mexico! These two are awesome together and Gimena rocked that Red Dress!
David and Madison… Where do I start? From the first moment these two came into our lives they made a huge impression upon us. I new the minute we met them that we wanted to photograph their wedding and it was absolutely amazing to hear after our one hour consultation that the Most Definitely Wanted us to be their Wedding Photographers and capture one of the most special days of their lives! None of this would have been possible if it hadn’t of been for Madison’s amazing big Sister that sent Madison and David our way and for that we will every be so grateful.
I am not sure what part it was about Madison or David that won us over but from the moment that Madison said she had done missionary work in Mexico I think that might have been it for me. As you many of you know I volunteered for many many years in a Dominican Orphanage and so this type is work is just so close to my heart. I truly believe that it takes special person to give themselves this way and put themselves out there and help others that are so helpless and don’t have any other options or places to turn to or any of the lovely resources like we have here in Canada. Third world countries are a completely different from what we live daily here in Canada and only those with very special kind, loving , giving hearts can do this type of work. We look forward to staying close with Madi and David and seeing what the future holds for them. Their future missionary plans sound absolutely amazing and there is nothing that will stop you two! The world is yours and we wish you all of the best as you start your new lives and adventures together!
As for the wedding, well I don’t even know if I have words to describe how beautiful it was! A 1st for us, photographing 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen… that is 22 people in the wedding party, oh and don’t forget 3 flower girls and 1 ring boy! It was fun to be back in my old hometown where I graduated to photograph this Saskatoon Wedding which took place at the Saskatoon Inn with formal photos taking place at the University of Saskatchewan, Research Place, Boffin Gardens and bridge.
Everything about this day went smooth and believe me, you wouldn’t think 12+ women in a hotel room getting ready would go smoothly! Everyone was right on time, the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, as were all of the bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents of the bride and groom, and all those that attended the wedding! I love hearing stories during the reception of the bride and groom and there were some amazing stories told this day.
I could probably talk for days about these two but I will leave it at this and just say that we are so Honoured to have been chosen as your Wedding Photographers and hope you LOVE your photos!

What an absolutely amazing day! You never know what the weather will be like near the end of October in Canada, we could have rain, sun or snow. But luckily mother nature decided to cooperate with us for today. It was an absolutely beautiful day, blue skies, little bit of cloud, not much wind and a nice warm Fall day. Dustyn and Brad, from the moment we met them, we knew we wanted to photograph their wedding and we were just super excited that the chose us to be there with them on this Special Day! Canyon Ski Resort is a great place for the wedding. The Ceremony was set up beautiful at the Ski Lodge and then the reception was a beautiful vintage blush with old black cast iron chandeliers hanging through out the reception area and beautiful large windows looking out onto the ski hill. Everything about Brad and Dustyn’s day was perfect. The bridesmaids were beautiful and grooms men were looking pretty spiff! Dustyn was the most beautiful bride (I am sure you will agree!
From the first day we met these two, we just knew it was a match made in heaven! Almost 2 years before the wedding these two booked us and just knew that we were the perfect fit for their Destination Wedding which was going to be held in Bellevue, Seattle, Washington. This wedding could not have been more elegant. Everything took place at the Bellevue Country Club and it was absolutely perfect. From the hotel rooms, to the ceremony and reception hall to the food. Everything was just exquisite and absolutely amazing, exactly how this couple wanted it to be. Their small intimate wedding included all the special people in their lives and it could not have been a more special day. Even the rain didn’t ruin this day! These two were so much fun and absolutely amazing to work with. Kris did not care if her wedding dress got dirty or wet and that just made the day all that more fun. These two were up for anything, even photos in a crazy windy rain storm!
I can’t say enough about these two. They are so kind and caring and truly amazing people and we wish them all the best and many many happy years together!
Absolutely Loved Loved Loved this wedding that we photographed last weekend in Lacombe, Alberta. From the moment we met Cam and Mallory for our pre wedding consultation, the connection was instant between the four of us and we were super excited when they Cam and Mal told us they wanted us to capture their wedding day. Thank you to an amazing referral by Mallory’s brother who gave us the opportunity to meet these two amazing people. Isn’t it crazy how small of a world we live in, not only did we have numerous connections to this couple through friends and family, we also discovered more connections as time went on and their wedding day came. Who know we would be sitting at a table with neighbours of ours that live just right down the street from us in Airdrie Alberta and that numerous people at the wedding would know my sisters through other channels! Some days it amazes me how small this world can be!
Cam and Mallory, what can I say, definitely meant for each other. Having been together for more than a decade and growing up together in a small town, it is truly a good old fashioned Love Story. One that will bring them many many years of joy, peace and love!
Had an awesome time last week photographing these two beautiful people (inside and out). They were amazing to work with and loved Mallory’s choice of clothing and matching shoes and necklace. Downtown Calgary is so much fun to shoot especially when a girl wants to wear heals. Much easier than photographing in a park.
From the moment we met these two we knew that we were a perfect match and we are thrilled to be photographing their wedding this coming Summer. Thanks for choosing us C&M as your Wedding Photographers. Can’t wait to see you again!
On our recent trip to Las Vegas, Nevada we had the chance to go out and photograph a few different couples who are getting married in the near future. We had an amazing time and are definitely going back to Nelson Ghost Town on our next trip to Vegas. Thank you to Rustic Star Photography for organizing this event and to House of Style SD for donating the amazing dresses. Photos were all taken, posed and edited by Charlene Codio and Rafael Codio photographers and owners of CODIO Photography — at Nelson Nevada Ghost Town.
