Everything about this wedding was perfect. Perfectly planned, right on time, women looked great, men looked awesome, and the weather was perfect. I love smaller weddings, they always seem to roll a little bit smoother than large weddings. Maybe it is less people, less drama, less organizing, I don’t know but they are always so chill and intimate which makes for a less hectic day for the us as well as Bride and Groom. This whole wedding took place in South Calgary, which was nice, everything was super close, not a lot of driving which is always nice for the photographers! You can’t go wrong with Fish Creek wedding photos as it is beautiful there and so many different things to photograph. Bow Valley Ranche House is absolutely amazing, it is gorgeous inside and out, the landscaping, the flowers, the old rustic wood and the FOOD… Everything was perfect at the Ranche for this Wedding.
Thank you to another amazing client of ours, just happens to be cousin to the groom, who introduced us to Dave and Amanda. If it hadn’t of been for her, our paths may have never crossed and for that we are forever grateful. Dave and Amanda are so kind and although different in many ways, similar in others and they just made the most perfect couple!
Could these two be any cuter! Loved this engagement session with David & Madison! From the minute we met these two, we just knew that we were a perfect match and we are so honoured that they chose us as their Wedding Photographers!
A little sneak peek from one of our weddings a few weeks ago! Helen was absolutely gorgeous and such a lucky bride getting to celebrate you wedding on two different days with two completely different outfits. Both Helen and Samson are from Nigeria and this wedding incorporated not only a White Dress Wedding but also a Traditional Nigerian Wedding which was so much fun to be a part of. This couple was so much fun to hang out with and there was a lot of dancing at the wedding and if you know Rafael and myself, you know that we LOVE dancing, so this was right up our alley.
This beautiful wedding took place in Airdrie Alberta on a very warm Spring day in April and many many friends came to celebrate this special day! I have been told that typically Nigerian weddings can be in the hundreds of people, sometimes even thousands of people attend, however this Nigerian wedding was just the closest of friends and family, keeping things all a little more under control. However I am pretty sure I would absolutely love to photograph Nigerian Wedding with more than 1000 people. How Crazy would that be?
Sneak peak from our engagement session with Brittany and Brad. These two are absolutely stunning and were so easy going and fun to work with. Can’t wait for their upcoming May Wedding that will take place in Drumheller AB! Going to be some awesome photos!
What can we say about this couple. They are both absolutely amazing, and when you meet them you just know that they are meant to be together. They have a beautiful love story as well as a beautiful family that means everything to them and it shows in everything that they do. Their children are one of a kind, beautiful, precious and absolutely adorable. This wedding could not have been more perfect from the beginning to the end of the day not a thing went wrong. Our beautiful bride went all out making the majority of all the decorations and desserts right down to the very last detail was planned by this bride along with the help of her closest friends and family. All of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids were a hoot to work with and this couple was drop dead gorgeous on their wedding day. This shabby chic vintage style wedding was just stunning and we loved every minute of it!
From the moment I spoke with Anne on the phone regarding her and Nathan’s Airdrie wedding, I just knew that we were the perfect fit. Unfortunately because both Anne and Nathan live in Saskatchewan, we were unable to meet them before the wedding, however from our phone conversations, I just knew we would all get along. That is exactly how the day rolled. Super smooth and relaxed, the wedding party was a ton of fun and the family was great. Vows were exchanged at the Lutheran Church in Airdrie, photos at Nose Creek Park and Big Hills Springs Provincial Park and then back to Woodside Golf Course to celebrate. Excited to share some of their sneak peeks!
Another beautiful wedding with another wonderful couple. Honestly I am not sure how we have managed to luck out and always end up with the most amazing couples. In all the years we have been photographing weddings (approximately 7 years) we have truly never had a bad experience. Our couples are always just the most wonderful people and by the time we are done photographing their wedding, they have made us feel like part of the family and we have this bond/friendship that feels as if it has been there for years! Thank you Tyler and Chelsie for choosing us as your wedding photographers as you celebrated and exchanged your vows at a beautiful Catholic wedding service, wedding photos at Confederation Park, Calgary and Party at the Ramada Hotel. Check out a few of the sneak peeks from tonights wedding!
Calgary weather always seems to amaze me. All week they were calling for thundershowers and storms and then Saturday it just clears up and we got the most beautiful day ever for this wedding that took place at the newly renovated Blackfoot Inn and then onto family and formal photos at Stanley Park in Calgary. We had an amazing time at this wedding with this couple that are so meant for each other! Check out a few sneak peeks from their wedding!
From the moment we met these two, there was a connection. We knew that we were going to be the perfect fit for each other. Having had a personal connection with Catherine through family contributed to how easy it was for the 4 of us to get along. After one Skype conference and one lunch meeting, we felt as if we had known Catherine and Ryan forever.
Catherine & Ryan were married September 21st, 2013 in Kelowna BC. The ceremony took place at the beautifully unique Hotel Eldorado. The formal photographs were taken at Quails’ Gate Estate Winery. It was an beautiful day and it really shows! The couple was a treat to work with as well as their bridal party and family. This super intimate wedding of approximately 35 people has to be one of our favourites to date. The whole family welcomed us with open arms and we just felt like we belonged.
Absolutely can’t wait for the next time we get to see these two hopefully for a maternity then newborn session… wink wink
Alisse & Gerald were married at the Nordic Centre in Canmore Alberta on September 1st 2013. These two were really fun to spend the day with. From the pictures to the ceremony and reception, the plans were well made and when all together was just amazing. We loved the natural feel the birch wood brought to the wedding.
